The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2025 is quickly approaching! I love a good sale and the Nordstrom Sale is known for some amazing deals!
Before it begins, I wanted to share everything you need to know about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale so you can be well prepared and not waste time (or money!).
What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
First up, what is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale? The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a giant sale of new fall arrivals from some of the top Nordstrom brands (like Topshop, Madewell, Spanx, Vince, etc).
It only happens once a year, typically each July.
When is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2025?
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is July 18th – August 3rd. The sale opens up to the public on Monday July 12th and ends Sunday, August 3rd but there’s also a way to get early access before the 17th.
If you’re a cardholder, you get to shop earlier! This year the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale begins on Tuesday, July 8th for cardholders. There are different early access dates depending on your Nordy Club status.
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Dates
- Icon Early Access: Tuesday, July 8th
- Ambassador Early Access: Wednesday, July 9
- Influencer Early Access: Thursday, July 10th
- Everyone: Saturday, July 12th
- Ends: August 3rd
You can check out your status here! Basically this means if you’re an Ambassador, you get early access in store (and online) on the 7th!
What brands are included?
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a great time to get deals on items like:
- SPANX (this is one brand that rarely goes on sale!)
- Free People
- Oribe
- UGG
- Nike
- La Mer
- Olapex
- Steve Madden
- Barefoot Dreams
- AllSaints
- Vince
- Charlotte Tilbury
- Kiehl’s Since 1851
- and more!
What is included?
There are items from all different categories at Nordstrom included in the sale! There’s everything from Baby Products (strollers, carseats, clothes, shoes), Women’s Fashion including denim, workout clothes, coats, sweaters, Shoes (boots, sneakers, and more) Accessories + Beauty (You can’t shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale without getting a pair of booties!
Does Nordstrom restock during the sale?
Items sell out super quickly during the sale and while Nordstrom does do minimal restocking during the sale, they say there is no guarantee that there will be restocks.
In most years there has been some restocking during the sale but there are many items that once they’re gone, they’re gone for the entire sale.
There are chances to pick up items that have been sold and exchanged though! I check back often on items I missed out on to see if that happens.
Benefits of a Nordstrom Card
The first year I ever really knew about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I applied for a Nordstrom credit card at like 6am to take advantage of the sale and get early access. Truth be told I only have a couple credit cards and rarely, rarely, open up new ones.
I think I’ve only opened up 2 new credit cards in the last 10 years so trust me when I say I’m not one to open a new credit card on a whim.
With that being said, we do a lot of shopping at Nordstrom between their apparel, home and kids stuff. Our entire family shops there, especially during sale times!
There are 2 different kinds of credit cards – a Visa card and retail card. You can find info on both on this credit card page.
Some of the benefits of the card includes:
- early shopping at the anniversary sale (obviously!)
- Bonus Notes (get money towards future purchases with each do)
- Free alterations
- no annual fee
- lots more!
Here’s my one caveat – don’t get this card if you don’t have the cash to pay for what you order! There’s no sense in going in to debt for clothes and shoes, no matter how cute they are!
One other thing to note – you’ll earn rewards while you shop! Nordstrom rewards customers in stores and online at Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack and HautLook.
Another thing to note. It’s a great idea to schedule a Personal Double Points Date during the anniversary sale especially if you’re going to stock up on items or make a large purchase (like the UppaBaby Vista V2 Stella Stroller with Bassinet!)
Anniversary Sale Early Access Preview!
Typically Nordstrom shares a peek into what is going to be on sale with their Early Access Preview. They used to send out a catalog with some of the sale items and that has been replaced with this online preview.
I personally love the online preview so I can not only prep what I want to buy during the sale but also help all of you!

How to Shop
1. Shop Online
I highly recommend starting off by shopping online. I like to do either the in store pick up or curbside pickup. This way you don’t have to fight the crowds and you’ll have more selection of items.
I will typically place two orders – one for in store pick up and one for delivery. That way I can pick up items that my stores has in stock right away but also get items that aren’t in stock delivered.
2. Schedule a Double Points Day
If you have the Nordstrom Card, you’ll get access to double points day. I always do my first day of shopping during the sale as a double points day. You get the most bang for your buck doing that!
3. Make a budget!
It can easy to go overboard when you see the sale prices but stay within your budget.
4. Create a list
It can be so easy to get overwhelmed by everything in the sale! Think about your wardrobe and what you need. Do you need denim, cardigans, booties or baby items?
Create a list and check out your go to brands first…or just keep your eyes on this posts as well as my women’s fashion, baby products, accessories + beauty , shoes + boots, and home posts.

Anniversary Sale Items to Buy
This a great time to stock up on staples like cardigans, shoes, and underwear (I’m a huge fan of Chantelle). I also get more expensive beauty and hair products like Oribe, T3 and makeup.
My husband typically picks up some new items like jeans, jackets and even sunglasses.
I also get quite a bit of kid’s clothes, shoes and jackets during the sale.
