If you have a pair of white jeans collecting dust in your closet or you spotted the cutes pair of white pants but just don’t know how to style them or whether you even CAN wear them after labor day, this post is for you!
There can be a lot of confusion when it comes to what to wear with white jeans and hard to break out of the usual way you wear them.
Today I’m going to share a variety of different white jeans outfits for every season – not just summer! From warm weather looks and boots to chic summer outfits, I’ve got you covered.
First, here’s some checks when it comes to wearing white denim.
Two Checks for the Perfect White Jeans
1. Check the fit
Not too tight but not too loose! When wearing white jeans you especially don’t want to wear jeans that are too fitted. On the flip side, overly baggy jeans isn’t the best look. A classic straight leg jean is typically the perfect option for white jeans.
2. Check the fabric
Yes, I know that jeans with stretch are usually more comfortable than jeans without. However, when you’re wearing white jeans you want to make sure that number one, the fabric is thick and not at all see through! The last thing you want or need is to be walking around with the world seeing your underwear.
You also want to make sure that your jeans aren’t too tight since that doesn’t look flattering on most women.
At the end of this post I’ll share some of my favorite white jeans but let’s start with some outfit ideas!
How to Dress Up White Jeans
1. Add Heels or Fancier Shoes
When it comes to dressing up jeans, the first thing to consider is what shoes to wear! Skip the sneakers or boots and throw on a pair of heels or dressy flats.
2. Chose the Right Top
What kind of top you’re wearing with your white jeans is another important thing to consider. Opt for a lace, silk or chiffon shirt that will elevate your outfit and give it a dressier feel.
3. The Perfect Accessories
A few layers of gold necklaces, a pair of beautiful dressy earrings or bangles around your wrist or a nice handbag is another great way to dress up your outfit.
4. Skip the Distressing
Lastly, be sure to choose a pair of jeans that aren’t distressed or have holes! If you’re going for a dressy look you’ll want to opt for clean lines or straight leg jeans.
How to Dress Down White Jeans
Let’s flip the switch a bit and chat about dressing your white jeans down!
1. Wear Sneakers or Flats
Go comfy chic and add a pair of Nikes or simple sandals to your feet! Less dressy shoes is the easiest way to keep your outfit casual.
2. Go Casual on Top
A graphic tee, sweatshirt or even a flannel will give you a casual vibe.
