Easter Activities for Kids

Big thanks to Zonderkidz for supporting this Simple Daily Easter Activities for Kids post!

It’s almost Easter! With everything that’s going on in the world, Easter is likely going to feel a little different this year. Because of that, I wanted to share daily Easter activities for kids!

My hope and prayer is that these simple activities will help you spend some quality time with your kids and be able to make some amazing memories, learning about the story of Jesus’ death and resurrection together.

Check out what's in this post!

Calendar of Ideas

Daily prompts really help me in getting going with doing activities with my kids, even as simple as reading to them! To take the guess work out of it all, I have everything laid out below as well as a simple printable to use to guide you!

I’ve once again partnered up with Zonderkidz to create this guide! They have a ton of amazing free activities, coloring pages and devotionals on their website for you to use during this time – and all year round!

I suggest downloading and printing off the calendar below! That will help take the guess work out of what is up and will (hopefully!) give your kids something to look forward to each day!

Daily Easter activities for kids -- a week of what to read, what to do and what to color

How to Use This Guide

You can use it as is, doing all of the things listed for each day or pick and choose what works for you! If you don’t have all of the books you can do something you already have at home or skip that one.

Depending on the ages of your kids, some of these activities will be great while others may not be age appropriate. I have ideas for each activity listed below on different ways you can use the same activity depending on your child!

Books Included

Most of the days have excerpts from the Beginner’s Bible. This is one of my favorite kid’s Bibles (I have more info on it on this Beginner’s Bible Stories post) and highly recommend picking it up. It’s available on amazon!

If you don’t have it, I have passages from the Bible that you can read. You can use your own Bible or just download a Bible app!

Zonderkidz has so many great resources and books for all seasons. Our kids have fallen in love with so many of their Bible stories because of their colorful pictures and kid friendly language. They’ve been a huge help in sharing stories from the Bible with our kids in a way that they can understand it.

Here’s a list of the other books included. Again, feel free to pick them all up, buy just one or two or skip them all together.

Activity Kit

Many of the activities come from the Easter Activity Kit that Zonderkidz created. This a FREE Download which makes it super easy and accessible for everyone! Just click the link above and download and print your kit.

I used almost all of the pages in the kit to create this guide so my suggestion is to just download and print it off all together so you’re read to go!

Coloring Kit

Like the Activity Kit, the Coloring Kit is a FREE download from Zonderkidz! Most of the coloring pages below are from this resource so again, I highly recommend just heading over there downloading and printing it off for the week!

Final Note

One final note before you get started. Some of the activities or coloring sheets don’t 100% go with the exact day. I did that so even if you don’t have all of the books above, you should be able to do some sort of activity each day.

If you get the Super-Duper Mighty Jumbo Coloring or Activity books, feel free to use one of the many sheets in there that go along with that day! Those books will provide hours and hours of activity time for your kids so I highly recommend them!

So without further ado, here’s a week of activities to do with your kids.
