1. Good Running Shoes

These Hoka Gaviota 5s have been my go-to for daily runs and shorter distances. The stability and cushioning are incredible, and they offer that perfect balance of support without feeling too heavy.
The Glide 4ā Shorts, on the other hand, are my go-to for any run. They’re breathable, light, and fit just right, with pockets that hold my phone and water bottle for longer runs!
2. Racing Shoes

I love how light and fast the Nike Vaporfly 4 feels on my feet, making them perfect for race day. These shoes are designed to give you that extra boost, whether you’re running a 5k or a marathon.
P.S When it comes to running, the right shoes make all the difference. I always recommend getting a gait analysis at places like Schuler Shoes if you’re local or a running store if you’re not!
3. Garmin Watch

If youāre serious about running, this is the watch youāre seeing on every runnerās wrist right now. The Garmin Forerunner 245 Music is a game-changer.
From tracking your pace and heart rate to storing music for those long runs, itās the perfect companion. Plus, itās way more accurate than other watches, helping you really fine-tune your training.
4. Light Running Cap

I never realized how much a good cap could make a difference until I started wearing this one. Itās super lightweight and keeps my head cool even on the hottest summer days. Plus, the reflective trim is a game-changer for those early morning or evening runs when visibility is key.
Bonus – it’s machine washable!
5. Headphones

These bone conduction headphones are a game changer! I love that they donāt go in your ears, so I can stay aware of my surroundings while still enjoying my playlist. Plus, theyāre sweat-resistant, perfect for those hot-weather runs.
6. The Perfect Socks

These socks are a total game changer when it comes to comfort. The heel cushioning is just right, not too thick, but supportive enough for long runs. They fit perfectly over the ankle, and I love how lightweight they feel. The quality is top-notch, and I honestly wouldnāt run without them!
7. Running Belt

If youāre tired of running belts that bounce and shift during your workout, the SPIbelt is a total game-changer. I used to get so distracted by that annoying bounce, but this belt stays perfectly in place. It fits everything I needāphone, keys, gels, and doesnāt budge. Itās comfortable, reliable, and perfect for both short jogs and longer runs!
8. Running Belt for Water

If you’re running longer or it’s really hot and need to bring water, this Nathan hydration belt is the best! There’s minimal bouncing and it’s big enough for the water bottle, phone and some gu or gel packs.
9. Running Shorts

When it comes to running shorts, Amazon has some great options, but these are definitely my favorite! Theyāre soft, comfortable, and stay in place without riding up. The high-waist design provides a little tummy control, and the pockets are perfect for holding your phone or keys. Plus, theyāre not see-through, so I never have to worry about them during my run.
10. Recovery Slides

After a race and during a lot of training, these slides are a must-have in my recovery routine. The arch support, shock absorption, and rocker bottom really make a difference in relieving pressure off my heels. Theyāre perfect for letting my feet relax after a hard run, and theyāre so comfortable that I wear them around the house all day.
I also have a post with all of my favorite winter running gear so if you’re someone who lives where it gets cold, be sure to check that post out!
