1. Matching Lounge Set with Tank – Green
I wore this look on our very first road trip last fall and it was perfect for the cool fall weather. It’s a matching lounge set that I just paired with a slim fit lightweight tank!
The set itself is a lighter weight lounge set – not a thick cozy one which is great for spring through early fall. In the fall I threw on an oversized denim jacket for the early morning when it was a bit chillier.
2. Matching Lounge Set with Tank – Blue
If green isn’t your color, try this blue! Yes, it’s the exact same lounge set as above but in a fun blue color. This set comes in even more fun colors if the green or blue aren’t your style!
3. Brown Lounge Pants and Red Graphic Tee
This is the look that I loved the most of them all (and wore twice during my trip!). These pants are the most comfortable pants ever and this graphic tee is so fun!
I just tucked in the top since it is a more oversized fit and added a few fun gold necklaces (that are super comfortable to wear).
4. Brown Tracksuit
I had this look on during breakfast at our last stay and I got stopped by another gal telling me how cute it was – I was feel like that’s a good way to know if a look is good or not!
It’s the same pants as the outfit above but with the matching top (included in the set). It’s so comfortable and perfect for wearing for long car rides!
5. Black Leggings and Chambray Top
Shop leggings, graphic tee and sandals here and chambray top here
I don’t think you can have a road trip outfit roundup without including a legging look or two! I wore this look when we went to Crater Lake and it was perfect for dealing with some cooler temps when the sun was behind a cloud and warmer temps when it was out.
The graphic tee covers most of your butt and the chambray ensures that it’s totally covered!
6. Athletic Shorts and Graphic Tee
Shop the shorts here and Bronco shirt here
These workout shorts are SO comfy and come in a so many fun colors! This is a great look for when you plan on doing some hiking or walking during your stop or just run hot while in the car.
7. Free People Jumpsuit
I am low key obsessed with this jumpsuit and own it in 2 colors! It is so comfy and great for wearing for road trips since it feels like you’re wearing pajamas but you look cute enough for photos or going out in public.
I wear a tank top under to make bathroom breaks less risky. It also has larger armholes so it keeps things covered too!
8. Sweater Pants and White Tank
Another cozy chic look is this one! These pants actually come with a matching knit top which would be perfect for fall but if you’re going on a road trip in warmer months, pairing it with a basic white tank will be a little less hot.
The pants are an oversized knit material and can run a little warm so this is better for those cooler days and not in extremely hot temperatures.
9. Rust Romper
Another romper style but this time in shorts and not pants! This one can almost pass for a dress given it’s lower crotch and flowy look.
It has a key hole back with a button closure that I find very easy to connect and comes in a bunch of different colors!
I wore this on a very hot and sweaty hike up the M Trail in Missoula. It worked great and aired out quickly!
10. Brown Lounge Pants and Black Tank
If you’re into the cropped top style, this is for you! These jogger style sweatpants are super cozy and lightweight, making them a great option for sitting in the car for hours on end.
I paired it with a longline sports bra that is so similar to Lululemon’s but at a fraction of the price. It’s another great option if you’re going to be hiking or walking while taking a break from the car!
11. Knit Shorts and Matching Shirts
Ok these are actually pajamas which makes them dual purpose! This is a great look for road trips since it can pass as a matching set to wear out but can also be worn to bed.
The shorts sit super high and the shirt fits very oversized. It’s so comfy and versatile.
12. Brown Leggings and Black Oversized Shirt
Another leggings look for you, this time with brown leggings! I love a different color of leggings to switch things up a bit but paired it with a black oversized t-shirt. I have this top in 2 different colors and love it.
13. Linen Pants and Checkered Vest
If you want something a bit more trendy but still comfortable, here you go! These linen pants are so comfy and great for travel. They have a liner that sits about mid thigh so you don’t have to worry about your underwear showing.
The checkered vest is super on trend right now and is also a comfy option. I put a tank underneath it since it is slightly see through with the crocheted nature of the top.
14. Rust Pants and White Tank
These wide leg, high waisted palazzo pants are beyond comfy. The waist is super high so if you don’t like the incredibly high waisted look or have a shorter torso like me, you may like having. your shirt over the top of the waist.
15. Bike Shorts and Oversized T-Shirt
If you prefer bike shorts over leggings, try this! This is the same black top as I showed in the look with the brown leggings but this time paired with maroon colored spandex shorts.
I hope this helps you in figuring out a few outfits to wear for your next road trip!
