Christmas time is here! There are so many ways to embrace the holidays. Most of us love putting up our Christmas tree, embracing the lights, and getting holiday greetings in the mail from friends and family.
Christmas sweaters have become increasingly popular over the last several years. I love wearing Christmas sweaters during the holiday season. You might even find me in one before Thanksgiving! Christmas sweaters are an enjoyable way to wear something festive – especially if you don’t have any formal Christmas parties to attend.
Christmas Sweaters
I have rounded up six of my favorite Christmas sweaters. Most of these can be dressed up or dressed down depending upon the occasion or day.

1. Santa’s New Sleigh Sweater (Pickup Truck)

This is one of my favorite sweaters for this year! I love it because while it is definitely Christmasy, you could get by wearing this all winter long. I love the classic red, green, and cream colors. The snowflake pattern almost look like poinsettias – a favorite winter plant!
This cute sweater is 30% wool so you know it will be cozy all season. This is a sweater that will never go out of style and you will enjoy wearing for years to come!
2. Merry Sweatshirt
This is such a festive sweater! I love that the word “merry” is written in red and white, making it look like a candy cane! The green is one of my favorite shades of green for the winter months. One of the best parts of this comfy sweater is the white detailing around the neckline, the sleeves, and the bottom hem.
This machine washable sweater would be easy to dress up or down depending upon the occasion. I paired it here with a light color pair of jeans.
3. Merry & Bright Sweater

I am a big fan of this white “merry and bright” sweater! It has a crewneck style neckline and dropped shoulders. This is a cozy, relaxed sweater! The jewel toned “merry and bright” is embroidered on the sweater. I paired this top with a black satin skirt.
4. Dreaming Santa Shirt
If you are looking for something super unique, this is the top for you! This pink and red shirt is festive and fun! This is a relaxed fit, sweatshirt style top. Santa is on the back saying all the things he is dreaming about this Christmas! The front of this shirt has a small Santa that says “dreaming of Christmas.”
5. Reindeer Sweater
Reindeer Sweater | Leather Pants
This is a super cute “ugly sweater” style top! I love this lightweight knit pullover that has fun reindeers on the front and back. I love the overall print of this top. You could easily pair this with jeans, a skirt, or faux leather pants like I did.
6. Merry Sweatshirt
This casual sweatshirt has chenille patch style “merry” letters sewn on! I love the casual nature of this top – it would be perfect for volunteering at a school holiday party, a neighborhood gathering, or just wearing out and about during the Christmas season
These are all of my favorite Christmas sweaters for the season! I love the wide variety of sweaters out there to fit any style or occasion. So go ahead, pick the one (or two) that make your heart feel a little merrier, throw it on without apology, and wear the heck out of it. Happy sweater season!
