Best Meals for New Moms (or Anyone in Need)!

Need some ideas of meals for new moms or someone who could use a helping hand? I got you covered. 😉

A couple days ago I asked all of you on Instagram for recommendations for meals for new moms (we have 2 friends with new babies and also 2 friends who are going through medical issues that we want to bring meals to).

You all know me and my lack of cooking abilities but man did you guys come through! Not only did you have fabulous recommendations but many of you even sent over recipe links! THANK YOU!

Rishi is the grill master and is planning on smoking a ton of meat for at least 2 of the families. The lovely @themidwestblonde recommended putting the meat in an air sealed bag so the recipient can put it in boiling water to reheat it – GENIUS!

Because I’m always struggling with this type of thing and so many of you asked what was shared, here’s the complete list of suggestions (including all the recipe links you guys sent)! If someone had a specific recommendation I included their Instagram handle for reference. 😉

If I missed one or you want your recipe included, shoot me an email ([email protected]).

I included all of the recommendations with links to recipes first (for those like me who need to follow instructions) followed by all the suggestions after. Enjoy!

1. Quinoa Enchilada Casserole from Damn Delicious

@lisamamathreelittles recommends to quadruple the recipe, portion it into disposable aluminum pans and freeze! Deliver it with a bag of torilla chips and salsa or guac and you’ll be adored. She also recommends adding chicken and smoked paprika. 🙂

10. Italian Sausage and Vegetable Soup via Tastes Lovely

@beklopack recommeded using curly pasta instead of orzo (put in a separate bag so they don’t get mushy!).
