1. POUR BOILING WATER DOWN YOUR DRAIN
This will kill adult fruit flies hiding in your drain and potentially kill any eggs in there too!
2. put apple cider vinegar in a cup with plastic wrap
Poke holes in the plastic wrap to get fruit flies in but not let them get out.
3. apple cider vinegar + Soap + Fruit + paper cone
The soap makes it hard for them to get out, the fruit entices them and the cone traps them!
4. STALE BEER OR WINE
Fruit flies like the smell but the skinny necks on the bottles makes it hard for them to get out!
5. Sticky traps
I usually use these for plant gnats but they work perfect for fruit flies! Lay them down on ripe fruit and watch the fruit flies get stuck.

1. Freeze your compost bin. 2. Keep produce in your fridge. 3. Clean your garbage cans. 4. Clean surfaces daily.
